Diary: White Fungus 10 release party
Diary comic Friday 6 March 2009.
I went to the White Fungus issue 10 Release party at Adam Art Gallery in Wellington. One of the music preformances was Campbell Kneale’s new music project Our Love will destroy the world.
It was a strange and interesting experience. He ran his voice through an effects board creating a wall of sound out of his voice and breathing. Seeing him prostrate himself over his little table was odd.
The whole effect was to create a spiritual, emotive, sensual almost sexual experience.
I wanted to try an experiment with the ‘infinite canvas’ and also to convey the experience of the music with lines.

Yeah, it’s hard to offer “critique” for this one, because it’s just so frakking awesome.
