Abstract 16 Series 3 ‘Lines’

Making this comic proved to be difficult. I began with ruling lines using a black ball point pen. Once finished I began thinking about what I wanted to achieve and thought white panels would be interesting.
I found using various white paints in-effective for hiding the ball point and had to switch to correction fluid which isn’t very easy to work with, it can dry lumpy.
Then when I came to scan the finished piece I found the heavy layers of correction fluid warped and wrinkled the paper. It was a bit of a hassle trying to get a decent scan. So after all that here it is.
This is also another comic originally the other way up, but looks better this way.
