The narrative in panels 6 thru 9 is awesome 🙂

  2. draw Says:

yeah I think you might be right Tim the last panel is extraneous.
I conceived the last image as a ‘full stop’ if you will, the final end, death.
It works better in the animated version of this comic, a brief glimpse of the other side.
leaving it out does leave a more ambiguous end to the comic, your thoughts?

  3. Timb Says:

I think it does because now it could several ways (sex, death, a dream). I guess it depends if you want the comic to be ambiguous and make people think about it…

  4. draw Says:

yep you are right it does look better! Its really growing on me.
    Thanks for the feedback Tim!

  5. Dick Whyte Says:

I agree – the narrative of 6-9 is great. The whole thing is amazing – setting up the suburban dream, the ‘perfection’, childhood, then sexuality and coupling – then the terror.

What was the last frame?? I don’t remember it.

  6. draw Says:

oh wow what a fantastic reading dick! the last panel was this amazing inage of a human skull bathed in orange glow

  7. Dick Whyte Says:

Hmmmm… I think that works in the narrative as the final stage – DEATH. But I dunno, if you are happier with it gone, that works too. Guess it depends on where you want to leave us as the reader.
